Back in November 2005, I was just quitting my job as a photo-assistant in order to start shooting on my own, when a friend invited me to shoot her first set for SuicideGirls. I had never thought about photographing naked girls, but from the very first time, with SG Monik in Brazil, I had so much fun – and SG bought our set, which made me keep going and got me more and more involved.

A few months after this first experience, I decided to backpack in Europe. Besides my former professional life, I was also very depressed with my personal life at that time, and I knew my surroundings [weren’t making me feel any better]. It seemed the best option was to explore far away places and see what they held for me.

[Before shooting July]

During the summer of 2006, I arrived in Europe without knowing anyone. I left two months later with several photo shoots done, new connections made in different cities all over the continent (most of whom became very good friends!), and I even got a new boyfriend in Germany. What else could I ask?

[Denie in Budapest]

Even though some of those people and situations were not directly made through the site, without being part of SG, I could never have afforded such travel, and wouldn’t have got to know REAL LOCAL PEOPLE everywhere I went (thanks SG – it happened).

[Shooting Priscila in Uruguay]

I moved to Germany in 2007, and had a very turbulent time till end of 2008. I stayed away from the site for a while to fix my life – but, again, guess where I found a lot of support to overcome my problems? And some people think this is just a nude website…

[With my best friend Unida]

It has allowed me to grow and develop my photography with the kind of freedom that can’t be found with other media outlets. It has exposed my work worldwide to people I couldn’t reach by myself, people that appreciate what I do (and some who don’t – but I can learn a lot from them too). And the very best part? During the years I’ve been shooting, I’ve had so many great experiences to share.

[With Liu in Argentina]

I’ve met and done portraits of so many beautiful girls of every nationality, size, color and shape you can imagine, and I made real friends. I’ve traveled everywhere in Europe, to some cities in South America, and I’m about to finally go to the US and Russia this year, simply because I can work everywhere I go. Luckily there are hot ladies wanting to become SuicideGirls everywhere in this world!

I’ve included some candid pictures from the great 5 years I’ve spent collaborating with SG, but to see the sets I shoot, you gotta become a part of the site too.

Hopefully you’ll have as much luck as I did.
